Making Tax Digital

Changes To The Way You Report Taxes.

As part of the Budget in 2015, the Chancellor of the Exchequer announced that the annual self-assessment tax return would be abolished and taxpayers would instead be expected to report their taxes digitally as part of the move to Making Tax Digital (MTD).

Nearly two years on from this announcement, HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) published its response to the now closed consultations on 31 January 2017.
